A proposal to the CRC Program for $3 million in government funding to support the research and validation of liners for pipeline rehabilitation was submitted by WSAA in August.
Asset maintenance, operations and renewal is a critical issue for all WSAA members. Significant capital is invested annually to operate, maintain and replace assets in ever-changing operating, regulatory, social and financial environments. It is recognised that civil, mechanical and electrical assets are critical to the successful operation and maintenance of water and sewerage assets and account for the majority of the capital dollars invested in infrastructure.
As part of WSAA's new young utility member development opportunities, Seqwater's Katie Jones joined us in Canberra for the WSAA Chairs and MDs’ Symposium and Members Meeting. Reflecting on the two days Katie talks about her highlights from the events in our latest blog.
