This Appraisal is for a range of precast concrete sewerage pump stations with an integral valve chamber in nominal diameters of 1.8m, 2.25m, 3.2m and 3.6m for installation up to a maximum depth of 15m. Issue 4 was to replace the previous Appraisal that had reached its expiry date. This Issue 5 is to add a 3.6m pump station to the scope of this appraisal.
The pump stations are normally supplied unlined and uncoated however Aquatec offers a mechanically anchored polyethylene lining that is integrated into the concrete at the time of manufacture or where specified the internal surfaces of the pump station can be coated with Megapoxy MC, a heavy duty two component epoxy coating.
The pump stations are supplied with optional accessories including pumps, valves, pipework, supports, well washers, ladders, platforms and brackets to facilitate installation. Electrical controls including main switchboard and level controls can also be supplied to water agency specifications, where required.
Design review and verification has been completed by appropriately qualified consulting engineers for the pump stations included in this Appraisal. Structural computations have been based on a maximum installation depth of 15 metres.
