This appraisal is for a complete range of Derwent ductile iron fittings in sizes from DN 80 to DN 750. This Issue 4 is a replacement for the previous version of the appraisal which had reached its 5-year expiry date.
The PN16, PN20 or PN 35 fittings are manufactured with minimum wall thicknesses complying with AS/NZS 2280 Appendix H.
Derwent fittings are fully coated and lined with thermal-bonded polymeric coatings.
Sockets incorporate T-type EPDM elastomeric seals for jointing to DI and Series 2 PVC pipes or EPDM transition lip seals in sizes from DN 100 to DN 300 for jointing to Series 1 PVC pipe.
Flanges comply with AS/NZS 4087 Figure B5 PN16 or Figure B6 PN35. Some flanges adopt alternative shapes in accordance with AS/NZS 4087.
