This appraisal is for a range of Resilient Seated Gate Valves to AS/NZS 2638.2:2011 Gate valves for waterworks purposes, Part 2: Resilient-seated. This Issue 4 is a replacement for the previous version of the appraisal which had reached its 5-year expiry date and also includes gate valves with restrained flexible joints to suit PE100 polyethylene pipes.

DN 90 – DN 315 Restrained Joints for PE Pipe
The design of the PE restrained joint for PE pipe incorporates an elastomeric seal and copper alloy gripper ring. Sealing and joint anchoring is accomplished by bolting a gland ring onto the body of the valve.
