This Appraisal is for a range of PAM HYDROCLASS® and INTEGRAL® ductile iron pipes .
The pipes are available in sizes from DN 100 to DN 750 in pressure classes PN20, PN35 and Flange Class. The jointing system for both the HYDROCLASS and INTEGRAL range of pipes is the T-type elastomeric joint.
This issue 5 is to include a zinc coating option.
Issue 4 was a replacement for the previous version of the appraisal which had reached its 5-year expiry date.
The PAM range of HYDROCLASS ductile iron pipes is suitable for the transport of drinking water and non-drinking water. The pipes are cement mortar lined and may be coated externally with metallic zinc or with ZINALIUM® metallic zinc-aluminium alloy and a finishing layer of blue or black synthetic resin anticorrosive paint (pore sealer). The zinc coating or ZINALIUM coating may allow for the elimination of polyethylene sleeving in specific soil environments.
The PAM range of INTEGRAL ductile iron pipes is suitable for the transport of sewerage or aggressive waters with pH values of 4 to 12. The pipes are lined with a calcium aluminate cement mortar and may be coated externally with metallic zinc or with ZINALIUM metallic zinc-aluminium alloy and a finishing layer of red synthetic resin anticorrosive paint. The zinc coating or ZINALIUM coating may allow for the elimination of polyethylene sleeving in specific soil environments.
