This Appraisal is for a range of Plastitalia PE100 injection moulded electrofusion socketed fittings, long spigotted fittings for electrofusion and butt-weld jointing and electrofusion saddles. This Issue 2 is to update the Quality Certifications.
Plastitalia fittings are suitable for use with polyethylene (PE) pipes manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 4130 - Polyethylene (PE) pipes for pressure applications for conveyance of drinking water, non-drinking water and sewerage in aboveground and below ground applications.
The Plastitalia range of fittings includes couplers, end caps, elbows, reducers, tees, stub ends, crosses, Y’s, tapping tees, tapping valves and branch saddles in sizes from DN 20 to DN 800.
The electrofusion range of fittings are rated as PN16 with couplings also available with PN4, PN10 and PN25 ratings. The spigotted fittings are generally available with PN10, PN16, PN20 and PN25 ratings.
