The R&D Network held a meeting at Icon Water in early August, where a variety of utility updates were shared from WSAA, Water Agencies and WaterRA.

Excitingly, the meeting also featured speakers from the Australian Research Council, National Water Grid Authority, Australian Renewable Energy Agency, Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, and the Australian National University.

To cap off a productive meeting, attendees were also treated to a site tour of the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre and biochar laboratories at ANU. It was a fantastic opportunity for the group to expand their knowledge and share insights.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our colleagues at Icon Water for hosting this group.

Lastly, for our member, the next Innovation Futures Community of Practice meeting is planned at Hunter Water in Newcastle for 12 and 13 September. Mark your calendars!
