The recent CCEE Meeting by WSAA in Hobart brought together over 20 carbon energy adaptation professionals to share key interventions to reduce emissions, adapt to climate change and enhance environmental outcomes.

The field day hosted by TasWater, they included presentations from researchers at University of Tasmania Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies, informing attendees about climate reconstructions from Antarctica and the implications for water management in Australia. Attendees also had the opportunity to visit a mini-hydro at Maydena, observe an in-situ nutrient monitoring program run by the Derwent Estuary Program, and visit TasWater’s recently upgraded Bryn Estyn Water Treatment Plant.
